My name is Maritza Ruiz and I want to help you with your business finances. A little bit about me, I was born New York and after high school joined the Air Force. I was stationed at MacDill Air Force Base where I began my accounting career. I was active duty for 10 years and spent an additional two years as part of the Air National Guard. Shortly after the end of my military career, I took on the responsibility of raising my 3 nieces and nephews. Since then, I earned my Bachelors in Accounting from St. Leo University. Ten years ago, I became a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and started my own company. In 2011, I won Small Business of the Year from the Tampa Latin Chamber of Commerce.
