New Details As Pro Wrestler Arrested In Stabbing Case

The arrest came after a car crash on Interstate 75.

A former professional wrestler has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend after Hillsborough County Sheriff Deputies say he stabbed his former girlfriend to death at her apartment complex.

Ruddick was taken into custody after fleeing to Pasco County according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Just before 8:30 p.m., the Sheriff's Office received a 911 call about a stabbing happening at 8451 Del Lago Circle in Tampa. When deputies arrived on the scene they say they found Bianca McGaughey, 25, laying on the sidewalk. She had been stabbed multiple times in her torso and her neck, the Sheriff's Office wrote in an email to Patch. McGaughey was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to deputies, earlier that night McGhee drove to the apartment complex and got out of the car. when his ex girlfriend approached him he started stabbing her then got back in his vehicle and left the apartment complex.

TBO.com reports that McGhee updated his Facebook page with a photo of himself showing a cut on his arm.

"Friends and family left messages for him to contact them and to do the right thing," the article states. 

Later, deputies say they spotted McGhee speeding north on Interstate 75 towards Pasco County. As the car approached State Road 41, McGhee crashed into a guard rail. With the help of a K-9 named Chino, McGhee was taken into custody and transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa to be treated for injuries from the crash and arrest.

McGhee and McGaughey had dated about a year ago and remained in touch after the relationship ended, according to the Sheriff's Office.
