Carrollwood VillageFest Returns Saturday
The community event celebrates its 10th year.
It's time for Carrollwood Village to shine as the community opens its arms to welcome the public in for VillageFest 2012. The event, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17 will include live music, vendors, arts and crafts, food and games. Beer and wine is also available for sale during the festival. The fun takes place on the Carrollwood Village soccer fields and usually brings in 3,000 to 4,000 festival goers each year. In it's 10th year, the VillageFest will not disappoint, said Maria Hochwarth-Alvarez, Carrollwood Village Special Events Manager. "I always try to make it bigger and better," said Alvarez.
