Reader's Spotlight: Celebrating Black History
The Town 'N Country Senior Center is commemorating Black History Month in February with a number of events.
Black history will take the spotlight Feb. 22 when the Town 'N Country Senior Center, 7606 Paula Drive, Tampa, hosts a daylong celebration as part of Black History Month. According to an event listing posted by Hugh Sullivan, the day's events begin with a Tribute to Black History Month Celebration with refreshments at 1 p.m. followed by musical performances, a cultural fashion show and other activities.
