Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Carrollwood

Where are your favorite places to hang on the holiday?

St. Patrick’s Day 2013 is almost here and as it makes its approach, we want to hear from you! Where are your favorite places in the Carrollwood and Northdale areas to toss back a green beer, grab some corned beef and cabbage and maybe enjoy a little Irish music? Went to O'Briens LAST YEAR, and they wanted $10/head just to walk in. WHAT CRAP! Went to Tampa Ale House a bit south on Dale Mabry, and had GREAT traditional Irish food.   more ›

Sunny St. Patrick’s Day in Store for Carrollwood

The National Weather Service predicts a nice spring weekend in the Carrollwood area.

Carrollwood residents craving a nice weekend after the bumpy start to this week might have the luck of the Irish on their side. The National Weather Service is forecasting a mild weekend with lots of sun as St. Patrick’s Day 2013 arrives. While Friday’s weather will be a little chillier than is normal this time of year with a high of 72 expected and a low in the mid 40s, Saturday, March 16 ushers in the start of a predicted warming trend and another day of sunny skies. Expect things to get a bit warmer just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. The forecast is calling for a mostly sunny day with a high near 80 March 17.
