We're compiling a list to help you find the best Small Business Saturday Deals.
Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 24 this year, two days after Thanksgiving. It is a day for everyone to support the small businesses their community thrives on. This year, Carrollwood Patch is putting together a list of local Small Business Saturday deals. If you are a small business owner, leave your deal in the comments section below, and it will be added to the list. American Express founded the day in 2010 to help small businesses get exposure during the holiday season, when they might be otherwise overlooked. With retailers buzzing around the holidays, it is great to support local small businesses that rely on neighbors like us in order to thrive. Last year, 100 million people nationwide participated in Small Business Saturday by …
Dine In 2Nite offers variety of fresh meal choices for individuals and families.
In June, Carrollwood resident Jeff Donnel launched Dine In 2Nite, an innovative take on catering, offering the luxury of a private chef lifestyle, but without the sizeable expense. Having worked for years in the corporate world, Donnel was looking for a business that he could own and operate when he discovered Dine In 2Nite. Bulk meal and frozen meal delivery have been around for over a decade, but the San Diego-based Dine In 2Nite franchise premise of preparing an individual fresh meal each day and delivering that evening was a new concept. “I just fell in love with the idea,” Donnel said. “I became its first franchisee. It’s a great service and a great business model. I think once we get established, it’s going to be very successful.” …

The gym is owned by a Carrollwood couple and includes chiropractic care.
When you first enter Fitness-Tek you know there's some fitness going on, but you're also thinking science lab. Or is it medical-related? Soon you realize it's all of the above and it makes sense. That's exactly what I found when I paid a visit to the gym recently. The hardwood floors and top of the line Vortex fitness machinery that populate the gym are cool, but owners Kristin and Kevin Votta provide a warm touch of approachability. The Vottas, who live in Carrollwood, began operating at Fitness-Tek two years ago at the 8721 Gunn Highway location. Their plan was to buy out the original owner in four years. Six months ago they achieved that goal two years ahead of time. Let Patch save you time. Get great local stories like this delivered …
