Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday

This just in from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office: As part of our ongoing effort to crack down on illegal pill mills and prevent prescription drug abuse, HCSO is taking part in the Operation Medicine Cabinet Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Beginning Saturday September 29, 2012 at 10 a.m., the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, along with the Temple Terrace Police Department , the Tampa Police Department , the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance, will collect unused or expired prescription medications from citizens to prevent potentially dangerous drugs from getting into the wrong hands.
