Carrollwood and Northdale Garbage Collection Not Stopping for Holiday
Residents who put their trash out on the curb for Monday pickup don’t have to change their plans for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
While most Carrollwood and Northdale area government offices and schools are closed Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, Hillsborough County’s trash collection services will operate without skipping a beat. That means anyone who normally has garbage pickup on Mondays, shouldn’t skip bringing their trash to the curb. The county has announced there will be no interruption in service in regards to solid waste collection. This includes garbage, recyclables and yard waste pickups in unincorporated Hillsborough, Tampa Palms, Hunter’s Green and New Tampa.
