With more than 100 vendors confirmed, food, games and drinks we're sure it's going to be a great time to be in Carrollwood-Northdale. The community event celebrates its 10th year.
It's time for Carrollwood Village to shine as the community opens its arms to welcome the public in for VillageFest 2012. The event, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17 will include live music, vendors, arts and crafts, food and games. Beer and wine is also available for sale during the festival. The fun takes place on the Carrollwood Village soccer fields and usually brings in 3,000 to 4,000 festival goers each year. In it's 10th year, the VillageFest will not disappoint, said Maria Hochwarth-Alvarez, Carrollwood Village Special Events Manager. "I always try to make it bigger and better," said Alvarez. This just in from the organizers of Carrollwood's VillageFest 2012: Now in its 10th consecutive year, VillageFest is coming back to Carrollwood Village. This fall festival is our largest and most exciting community event. Eat, browse, shop, enjoy at the Carrollwood Village soccer fields, 13420 South Village Drive in Carrollwood, on Saturday, November 17 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event features live music all day, arts and crafts, unique gifts, plants, beer and wine, a variety of local restaurants, activities for kids, and much more. It's hosted by Carrollwood Village Phase I, II & III Homeowners Associations and representing 3,200 homes. Attendance of up to 5,000 is anticipated. The event is free and open to the public.
