Meal Delivery Business Launches for Busy Community

Dine In 2Nite offers variety of fresh meal choices for individuals and families.

In June, Carrollwood resident Jeff Donnel launched Dine In 2Nite, an innovative take on catering, offering the luxury of a private chef lifestyle, but without the sizeable expense. Having worked for years in the corporate world, Donnel was looking for a business that he could own and operate when he discovered Dine In 2Nite. Bulk meal and frozen meal delivery have been around for over a decade, but the San Diego-based Dine In 2Nite franchise premise of preparing an individual fresh meal each day and delivering that evening was a new concept.  “I just fell in love with the idea,” Donnel said. “I became its first franchisee. It’s a great service and a great business model. I think once we get established, it’s going to be very successful.” …

New CABA President Hopes to Grow Membership

The Carrollwood Area Business Association is made up of north Tampa's business owners and professionals; Lea Orchard is taking the reigns as president this month.

On Wednesday morning, she was all smiles, preparing to take the helm of the 305-member organization she joined years ago. Standing in front of Boston's Sports Bar & Grill, Lea Orchard was crowned president of the Carrollwood Area Business Association during a members-only breakfast, adding the responsibility of leading the nonprofit to her already long list of things to do. The Ft. Myers native is a mother of four and salon owner franchisee of three Great Clips businesses in Tampa Bay. But Orchard, who has lived in Carrollwood for 15 years, isn't wary of what her new role entails. "It felt like a logical progression," she said. "I joined in 2005 and got on the board right away."
