A tragedy shook this normally quiet subdivision to its core.
As 2012 comes to a close, Carrollwood Patch is taking a look back at the year that was. For the next several days we'll be featuring a story that ran in 2012 and resonated with our readers. First up is a tragic story we ran in January, about a double homicide in the Avila subdivision.Dr. Hector Rivera, 76, and his wife Debbie, 55, were found dead in their home at 814 Taray De Avila.
