Renaissance-Themed Art Festival Benefits Life Enrichment Center

The festival will have a Renaissance theme and benefit The Life Enrichment Center.

An art show will be held at Aston Gardens in Westchase to raise money for an area nonprofit that provides classes for adults on a wide variety of topics from the arts to financial management. The Renaissance-themed art festival takes place Saturday, June 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the event Tampa Bay artists will display their works; oils, watercolor, carvings and  writings, according to a press release about the festival. A brunch buffet and mimosas will be served. And along with the art display, festival goers can enjoy live music and psychic readings. Aston Gardens Festival Raises Thousands

Aston Gardens at Tampa Bay held its third annual Summer Arts Festival fundraiser to benefit the Life Enrichment Center on June 9. The event included an art show and sale, a brunch buffet with mimosas, interactive art, raffles and a silent auction, live entertainment, art demos, psychic readings, and more. “This was another wonderful event,” said Ronna Metcalf, executive director of the Life Enrichment Center. “The brunch is quite literally the icing on the cake. The food at Aston Gardens is absolutely superb." The event raised $3,000, said Beth Leto, director of community relations at Aston Gardens. “Every year, it gets bigger and better and everyone has such a good time," Leto said. Art Show to Benefit Life Enrichment Center

A local retirement community for seniors is hosting a fundraiser that includes a brunch buffet and art show to benefit a nonprofit organization for the arts. Aston Gardens at Tampa Bay, 12951 W. Linebaugh Avenue in Westchase, is hosting the show as a fundraiser for the Life Enrichment Center in Forest Hills from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 9. Admission is $10 per person, which includes the buffett and mimosas and a dessert bar. The event includes live music, art demonstrations, a psychic reading, raffles, door prizes and a silent auction.
