Meet Patch Whiz Kid: Roberto Villalba

Patch's Whiz Kid of the Week ○ Whiz Kid's Name, Age: Roberto Villalba, 17 ○ Whiz Kid's School: Gaither High School ○ Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Roberto was named a Barnes Scholar, and won a scholarship valued up to $15,000 ○ Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: An honors and Advanced Placement student, Roberto is one of four people selected from 360 applicants to receive the Barnes Scholarship. Roberto was picked based on a series of essays, a personal interview and information from his school. The Barnes Scholarships target college-bound high school seniors who have overcome obstacles in their lives while remaining committed to academic achievement and community service.
