Since 1981, Carrollwood Players, Tampa's oldest community theatre company, has provided quality entertainment for theMore Tampa Bay area. Carrollwood players offers a range of possibilities: dramas, bedroom farce, popular musicals and much more. Carrollwood Players presents nine plays each season. In addition, there is the Annual One Act Weekend, where aspiring playwrights can submit its scripts and if chosen, get their work performed on stage. Also, Carrollwood Players Theatre by Young People stages at least one show a year. Carrollwood Players' typical production runs for four weeks. Tickets start at $14 and customers can reserve the seats online. Season tickets are also available. Carrollwood Recreation Center

The old Carrollwood recreation center was demolished to make room for the new facility in 2007. The new center is 4,500More square feet, compared to 3,000 square feet at the old center. The facility hosts private events as well, and has a dance floor that holds 180 people. A paved lot accommodates 50 vehicles.

The Grand at Olde Carrollwood is a residential community located on a  private road withinMore Carrollwood. Built in 1969, the complex consists of 244 units within 33 buildings. Amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, two swimming pools, and tennis courts.
