Become an Adult Tutor - Adult Literacy Tutor Orientation

SERVE and Hillsborough County Public Schools Adult Education Department need volunteers to assist adult students, age 16 and older, who are enrolled in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Adult Basic Education/GED preparation classes.  Tutors may assist with basic academic skills, GED reading, GED math, employability skills, family literacy, practical life skills, and learning to speak, read, and write English.  Over 60 volunteer sites conveniently located throughout the County.  Day or evening placement available.  Tutor in small groups or one-on-one.
