JOIN US AT AN ADULT LITERACY TUTOR ORIENTATION AND LEARN HOW TO BECOME AN ADULT TUTOR.
SERVE and Hillsborough County Public Schools Adult Education Department need volunteers to assist adult students, 16 and older, who are enrolled in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Adult Basic Education/GED preparation classes. Tutors may assist with basic academic skills, GED reading, GED math, employability skills, family literacy, practical life skills, and learning to speak, read, and write English.
Over 60 volunteer sites conveneiently located trhoughout the County. Day or evening placement available. Tutor in small groups or one-on-one.
