Fireworks Return to Emerald Greens

Advance tickets for the community celebration are now on sale.

Fireworks will light up the night sky over Carrollwood as Emerald Greens once again welcomes the community to celebrate the Fourth of July a little bit early.

The golf resort and country club’s annual Independence Day Fireworks & Celebration is set for Saturday, June 29. The fun starts at 9:15 a.m. with a flag-raising ceremony and continues past sundown when the fireworks show beings.

While Emerald Greens is a private club, it opens its doors each year to the community for this celebration, explained Franci Titus, the club’s receptionist. Non-club members can take part in everything from the pool party and midway to the fireworks show by purchasing an arm band. The cost of those bands is $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the celebration.
