The Carrollwood Day School's girls' tennis team didn't take home the title, but they have strong prospects for the coming years.

Carrollwood Day School’s girls didn’t bring home a state Class 1A championship title this week, but the future looks bright.

The team lost both matches played in the April 16 championships in Orlando, according to The Tampa Tribune. Even so, coach John Most is very hopeful about next year’s chances.

“We’re only going to get stronger and tougher,” Most told The Tribune.
