Carrollwood Day School Competing in District Track Meet

The CDS Patriots will clash with the other schools in 1A District 9 at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The track meet on Thursday morning featuring Carrollwood Day School will be hosted by Indian Rocks Christian, but will actually be held at Shorecrest since they have a rubber track.

Here's a look at at few of the athletes from CDS who should get through to regionals:

Sophomore Robert Davis (100m, 200m)  held his own at winning his heat and coming in 35th out of 75 athletes. He should place at the top if not the top of those sprints at districts.

Sophomore Nate Lewis (100m, 200m) will also push for a spot in the 400m.

Junior Bailey Drury is one to watch in the 200m. Junior Deuce Gruden has a shot in the sprints.
