Lake Magdalene Elementary principal Dodi Davenport took a break from a busy first day of school by resting on one of the benches in the new School Community Park.
Where parents once stood in dirt and blaring sun waiting for their children, there was now a brick paved patio with shade trees, landscaping and benches.
The park was designed and funded by the LME Dads’ Club with additional funding provided by the LME PTA and school.
