Independent Day School-Corbett Campus to Present Disney’s "Camp Rock: The Musical"
Four performances open to the public to take place July 1 and 2
The jam session of the summer will take place on Friday and Saturday when students from the musical theatre camp at Independent Day School-Corbett Campus present four performances of Disney’s Camp Rock: The Musical.
The perfect show for the entire family, performances will take place on Friday, July 1 and Satuday, July 2 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day in the school’s Farish. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.
The musical is based on the hit Disney Channel Original Movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and features students from throughout the Tampa community.

As the plot goes, this summer at Camp Rock was supposed to be all about the music and having the time of their lives.
But the new, flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock’s very existence. To keep the doors open, Mitchie steps up, rallies her fellow Camp Rockers, and gets them into top shape for the ultimate showdown. Blending pop and rock music, Camp Rock: The Musical features popular songs including, “This Is Me,” “Can’t Back Down,” “It’s On,” and “We Rock.”
