How Did Carrollwood and Northdale Schools Do?

School grades were released today.

Officials from Hillsborough County Public Schools released school grades today, with Carrollwood and Northdale schools faring well compared to others in Tampa Bay.

More than 59 percent of elementary and middle schools in the county's public school system earned 'A' or 'B' grades, school officials said. About 37 percent of the elementary and middle schools earned 'A' grades, and 31 percent maintained their 'A' grade from last year, officials said.

High school grades won't be out until late fall, officials said.

School grades are determined using a number of factors, including FCAT scores and end-of-year exam results.
