Hillsborough School Lunches: Love Them? Hate Them?

What do your kids think of the meals that are served up in cafeterias throughout the county? We want to hear from you!

As the academic year comes to a close, nutritionists for Hillsborough County Schools are hoping to get a jump on meal planning for when those bells ring again in August.

In that spirit, the district had kids from all over the county attend the fourth annual Fresh Flavors Food Fair, staged earlier this week. The annual event gives kids a chance to taste test and rate proposed dishes for school cafeterias.

While some of the proposed new menu items received thumps up from the young critics, others didn’t go over so well.
