On Friday, January 25 the Gaither High School community will join together to help a student in need.
The school is hosting a multicultural extravaganza fundraiser for student Cameron Perez, a Gaither junior who was critically injured in a car accident over the winter break while on his way to Kentucky to see family, according to a Hillsborough County Schools media release.
All donations raised from the event will go to Cameron’s medical expenses.
The multicultural extravaganza fundraiser starts with an hour of ethnic culinary samples provided by Gaither families, faculty, staff, and the community. More than 30 students will perform steps to music representative of Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, and South America.
