Lee Academy Hosts Annual Silent Auction on Campus

Lee Academy for Gifted Education combined cheese and wine with several dozen silent auction items

On Saturday, May 12, Lee Academy for Gifted Education hosted an international wine and cheese tasting combined with a silent auction against the beautiful scenic lake backdrop of the school, 8613 Twin Lakes Boulevard.

As a slight wind blew off the lake, faculty, parents and guests mingled
under the shaded canopy, enjoying white and red wines complemented by a variety of cheeses from a strong blue to a mild brie.

Auction items ranged from student art, fine wine and spirits, custom artwork by artist and Lee Academy teacher Caroline Babis, I Choose gift basket, amusement park tickets, golf outings, kitchen appliances, to legal and web design services.
