LifePath Hospice Volunteer Orientation

Are you looking for a meaningful experience that makes a
difference in someone’s life? Do you have two-to-four hours to share each week? Then consider volunteering with LifePath Hospice.

Volunteers bring compassion and companionship to patients with advanced illnesses. They perform any number of activities, such as reading to patients, helping at mealtime, providing a much-needed break for a caregiver, creating a legacy project or just sitting quietly offering support. Volunteers are also needed to work at Life’s Treasures, the LifePath Hospice thrift store and to provide office help and event support. LifePath Hospice provides free training, and volunteers do not need any previous type of experience.

Potential LifePath Hospice volunteers can attend a 90-minute orientation session on Monday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the LifePath Hospice Temple Terrace Resource Center, 11150 N. 53rd Street in Temple Terrace. Volunteers interested in working with patients and families will receive additional training, and all potential volunteers must pre-register.
