Chamberlain Students Get Up Close and Personal With Elephants

The students recently toured the Center for Elephant Conservation in Polk County

Earlier this month some Chamberlain High students got up close and personal with some larger than life figures.

The students visited the Future Farmers of America Animal Care Seminar and the Center for Elephant Conservation in Polk County.

Students toured part of the 200-acre facility and took part in an interactive seminar. They had the opportunity to learn about the Asian elephant and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's conservation efforts. The students were also able to get up close and personal with a couple of the elephants and feed them.
