Carrollwood Day School announced today the hiring of Jim Harte as the new high school boys soccer coach. Harte is a well-known soccer coach throughout the Tampa Bay area, and CDS is proud to have him part of their athletic team.
Coach Harte is a three-time Character Education Partnership Promising Practice Award Winner, Cypress Woods Elementary School Teacher of the Year in 2009 and a Pinellas County Schools Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalist: Creativity and Innovation.
Coach Harte’s soccer history consists of:
· 6 state championships in soccer - FHSAA record
· 3 time state runner-up
· 17 trips to state tournament
· 11 trips to Final Four
· 762 games coached
· 48-11 record in state tournament games
· 15-5 record in Final Four games - FHSAA record
