Old Orchard Drive Remains Closed

A storm drain collapse is the likely culprit.

While Carrollwood’s roads are mostly back to normal after the passing of Tropical Storm Debby, that’s not the case everywhere.

Old Orchard Drive at Carrollwood Village Drive remains closed today and likely will stay that way through next week, Hillsborough County officials say.

According to county spokesman Steve Valdez, a storm drain under the interesection is believed to have collapsed. Until the county can further explore the situation, the road will need to stay closed.
