Shoplifter Has a Penchant for Film
Not only is the man accused of stealing 23 DVDs from the Citrus Park Best Buy, deputies say they have his imaged captured on a surveillance photo.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a little help to catch a thief with a passion for movies.
The man, deputies say, went into Best Buy, 12675 Citrus Park Drive, around 12:53 p.m. Oct. 6 and walked to the DVD/3D section of the store. Once there, the man proceeded to open the packaging on 23 Blue Ray and 3D DVDs before stuffing them into his pocket and fleeing the store. The DVDs are valued at $396, according to a sheriff’s office media release.
The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion between the age of 25 and 35. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a LA Lakers T-shirt, white basketball shorts and white tennis shoes.
