Missing Elderly Man Located in 17 Minutes

Hillsborough County deputies credit the LoJack SafetyNet bracelet he was wearing for the fast return.

When 76-year-old Barrington Robinson was reported missing May 23 from the Carrollwood area it only took deputies a few minutes to find him.

Hillsborough deputies say that’s because Robinson was wearing a LoJack SafetyNet System bracelet when he was reported missing at 5:04 p.m. May 23 from his home in the 12900 block of Lake Ventana Drive. Robinson suffers from dementia and was considered endangered.

When deputies learned he was wearing a bracelet, they were able to track his whereabouts.
