The South Tampa man wanted in connection with a Nov. 28 robbery at Fifth Third Bank in Carrollwood was arrested yesterday.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Irving Hubbard, 33, of 6501 S. Westshore Blvd. No. 201, was arrested without incident Nov. 30 after a tip led to deputies to his location. During an interview with Hubbard, deputies say the man admitted to robbing a bank in Venice on Nov. 30.
The Carrollwood robbery took place just after 8:30 a.m. Nov. 28. Hubbard is said to have walked into the 13001 N. Dale Mabry Highway bank with a demand note. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank. His face was caught on surveillance video.

Hubbard was charged with two counts of robbery, fraudulent use of a credit card, dealing in stolen property and false verification of ownership to a second hand dealer. He is being questioned in regard to several other thefts within Hillsborough County, officials say.
