Carrollwood Bank Robbery Suspect Identified
Deputies are looking for a South Tampa man in connection with the Nov. 28 crime.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies have identified a suspect in yesterday’s Fifth Third Bank robbery in Carrollwood.
According to a sheriff’s office media release, Robert Irving Hubbard, 33, 6501 S. Westshore Blvd. No. 201, is a suspect in the Nov. 29 robbery.
That incident unfolded around 8:36 a.m. when a man walked into the 13001 N. Dale Mabry Highway bank and handed a teller a demand note. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a 2001 Ford Taurus. The car has since been recovered by deputies, the release said.

Hubbard is described as a white male who is 6-foot-1. He weighs about 190 pounds and has a medium build, red hair and blue eyes.
Hubbard was previously arrested on DUI, possession and disorderly conduct charges, according to jail records.
