UPDATE: 75-Year-old Carrollwood Area Who Wandered from Found Safe

Authorities have found Barrington "Barry" Robinson, who had wandered away from home.

Update (6:05 p.m.): Barrington Robinson was found safe by the Tampa Police Department. He is safe and unharmed and will be returned to his family. 

Earlier: Authorities are looking for the public’s help in locating a 75-year-old who wandered away from his Carrollwood area home Friday night.

Barrington “Barry” Robinson, of 12909 Lake Ventana Dr., Tampa, is being  classified as a “missing endangered” adult, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

The family tried to locate him for fours prior to contacting the Sheriff’s Office, according to deputies.

Robinson suffers from dementia and other medical issues.

He has wandered before but returns when he realizes he has walked too far. He doesn't have a cell phone.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who has seen Robinson or knows his wherabouts to call the agency at 813-247-8200.
