TAMPA, Fla. – Oct. 8, 2013 – The women of Gals Golfing are taking over Golfer’s Grail Indoor Golf & Tap every third Wednesday of the month. Gals Golfing is a nine-hole golf and networking group for professional women in Tampa. The next event will be Oct. 18, with instruction and golf 3-5 p.m. and networking 5-6 p.m. Cooper Financial Services is the sponsor of Gals Golfing and will provide hors d'oeuvres from Carmel Café of Carrollwood. There will also be craft, import, and domestic beer as well as a variety of premium wines at Happy Hour prices.
“Our new relationship with Golfer’s Grail will ensure the ladies can enjoy golf and networking – rain or shine. And it’s always a cool 72 degrees!" said Chris Cooper, founder of Gals Golfing, president and owner of Cooper Financial Services. “All ladies are welcome, and instruction from our golf pros will encourage beginners and motivate intermediates.”
PGA Professionals provide all instruction and coaching. Instruction is concentrated on the practice green, with a swing analysis provided by the simulators on every shot, and the group will also play a few holes.
“We are excited to be the new indoor golf home for Gals Golfing,” said Brenda Sproat, co-owner of Golfer’s Grail. “It’s a great way to meet other business women and mingle with people that have common interests – networking and golf!”
Golfer’s Grail has four GolfBlaster 3D simulators with a proprietary dual sensor ball tracking system that gathers information from the golf ball and club head. They are capable of detecting every possible kind of shot played with uncanny accuracy. Hooks, slices, fades, draws, chips, pitches and putts are all reproduced with fantastic realism – indoors.
