Saw negative reviews. I called the store and the associate seemed to be very nice. So I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go to that location. However, after going there I wished I had not wasted my time or gas. Let’s set the tempo, I am a black male, and I was wearing a hooded sweat shirt and jeans. I went into the store because I wanted to sell my daughter’s baby swing and bouncy seat because she has outgrown them. Unfortunately I was missing a part of the baby swing (which we did find), so I only brought in the bouncy seat. While they were looking at the seat I ran to the bathroom and when I came back they proceeded to tell me that the device that plays music was not working. I advised them that it was barely used and there is no reason it should not be working especially since the batteries were fresh. They tried to tell me that the music would stop and go. So I stood there with whom I perceived to be the person in charge and played the music. There was no problem and they could not recreate it. The person in charge said that they could not guarantee it for their customers and said that they would not take it. So I took everything out to my vehicle and decide to play the music to see if it would stop. After 5-10 min of playing the music nonstop, there would be a short break when the music was switching songs, which is how the device was intended to work. I then went back into the store, and advised the associate that tested it that it was working as intended and all she did was shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know?” Which came across like “what of it?” Now I have over 20 years of customer service, and normally I would have expected the associate to ask me to bring it back in to check it again. However, I politely wished them a good day, as I left there feeling like they were treating me like someone who was trying to hock stolen equipment. Needless to say, I will never go to that store again.
