Updated Online Design Tool Improves Tampa Kitchen Remodel Experience

Kitchen Tune-Up NW Tampa, part of the leading kitchen and bath remodeling franchise, has released an updated online design tool that you can access direct from their website by clicking here. The free tool has been updated to let visitors interchange areas such as cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring and backsplash tiles, even faucets and hardware among others.  You can even save and email your design.

Local franchise owner, Matt Pierce, says the tool is expected to speed up the decision-making process for his customers. "By being able to play around with different looks and materials, they can fine-tune their likes and dislikes before I arrive for their free in-home consultation. Color is especially important. Just by knowing what colors the customer likes best means I can bring samples of the materials that are of most interest to them. This saves time for everyone and gives the client a good place to start their project."

For instance, a homeowner with a 20 year old kitchen of oak cabinets and a laminate countertop can now see what cherry hardwood and solid surface stone countertops would look like. It allows the consumer to try out many different combinations right at their own computer. Many who have tried the tool have expressed surprise that what they thought they liked and wanted turned out to come in second to other looks once they could actually see them. Jan Thompson, recently had her kitchen remodeled "I always thought I liked white cabinets but then I saw what the honey color looked like and I knew exactly what I needed for my new kitchen."

The tool is completely free and lets users email a picture of their designed kitchens to others for viewing. This comes in handy for spouses who want to share their design with the other but may not be home at the same time. "Anyone can use the tool", adds Pierce, you don't have to be working with  Kitchen Tune-Up to see for yourself what your new kitchen could look like." This isn't useful just for new cabinets, either. "Refacing also changes the outward appearance of cabinets without ripping everything out and starting over but it's affordable, too."
