Into Short Term Relationships? We Need Fosters for Pets

With so many animals arriving at HCAS monthly, many rescue groups and HCAS is always looking for foster homes for pets.  

Frequently asked questions about fostering:

Is medical covered?  Yes, medical is covered and sometimes food depending on the resources of the rescue or group.

Do I get to pick the animal?  Yes, you can pick an animal that best fits your family and situation that is available for fostering.  There are many rescues always looking for foster homes with all different sizes, breeds and temperaments.

What's required of me?  To share as much love as possible to the pet you are fostering and to assist in finding a forever home for the dog or cat.


All rescues have different requirements and needs.  If you are interested in becoming a foster family for a pet, please call Friends of HCAS at 813-922-8364 and we will assist you in finding a rescue.
