Event Description: Tampa Bay Markets and the Carrollwood Cultural Center are
geared up to launch the third event for the North Tampa Market this coming
Saturday, March 8th 2014! This
is an open-air, fresh market that is a year-round and is held on the second Saturday of every month, rain or
shine, 10 AM to 2PM.
The market is located on the tree-shaded grounds of the
Carrollwood Cultural Center at 4537 Lowell Road, Tampa, FL 33618.
This market will feature 70+ vendors with an emphasis on
local goods. Shoppers can find gourmet take-home foods, ready-to-eat
lunch bites, plants, cheese, hand crafts, jewelry, artwork and live
music. Admission and parking are free and pets are always welcome!
The North Tampa Market welcomes a variety of vendors with a
hand-made, green and recycled focus for their wares. The market's
largest produce vendor, USA Produce provides a mixture of locally grown and
sourced produce and Green Acre Organics is the primary USDA Organic
Produce vendor who also grows aquaponics. Locally grown fresh Herbs and Plants will be supplied by Whitwam Organics, Florida Fresh Herbs,
Tropical Gardens and Spring Lake Tropicals.
Raw Local Honey to be provided by Edens Nectar, Cheese
varieties will be supplied by the Cheese Lodge, Fresh baked artisan breads and
Ezekiel Breads will be provided by 20 Shekels Bread and homemade
soaps will be supplied by Woodapple Farms, Fresh Florida Seafood provided
by NautiGirl Seafood!
