Community Corner

First Friday Night Opening Reception-'Take Me Home'

“Take Me Home”
A small quilt exhibit and silent auction
created

by the West Pasco Quilters' Guild

The quilts for auction have been donated by members of the WPQG and
100% of the monies raised by the sale of these quilts will directly benefit
the
Downtown New Port Richey Art Gallery.

Why do we make quilts? Most of us make them because we enjoy the
process or the journey. We have a vision in our minds and we use fibers to give
our vision life. Quilting is an ART.

The Gallery celebrates all types of art in our community. Every
medium that can be molded into the images of our mind can be displayed here. The
Gallery encourages young artists through the school programs and classes they
offer to the community.

The quilters of the West Pasco Quilters’ Guild, Inc. wish to assist
the Gallery in their continuation of providing a quality venue for our local
artists to share their talents and exhibit their works. -WPQG

Please join us for a very special exhibit created by this wonderful and
generous group of talented quilters.
