Carrollwood Author Signs Books at Cheval Women's Club Holiday Bazaar

Carrollwood author, Karen A. Lynch will be signing special limited collector’s editions of her new book Irish Holiday Fairy Tales by Finn McCool, the Magic Leprechaun Cat at the Cheval Women’s Club Holiday Bazaar, Tuesday, December 11, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. The Bazaar will be held at the TPC of Tampa Bay Clubhouse, 5300 Lutz Lake Fern Rd., Tampa, FL 33558.

Lynch operates Florida Cause for Paws, a self-funded cat rescue that has been caring for lost, feral, and abandoned cats and kittens for more than 23 years. Finn McCool, named for the legendary hero of Ireland, is a real, ginger tabby cat born of a feral mother in Lynch’s bedroom. Since 1983, when Finn McCool, the Magic Leprechaun Cat became the rescue’s official spokescat, Lynch has been writing stories in his name to help fund the rescue. The stories, suitable for all ages, are based on Irish legend, folklore or history with a wee bit o’ leprechaun magic
for fun. Each beautifully illustrated story features a different magic leprechaun cat relative of Finn’s from his home in the mystical Hill of Tara, located in magical Ireland.

Finn’s international award winning stories have been published in 60 countries over six continents. His book Irish Holiday Fairy Tales was the only book chosen by Cat Fancy Magazine for its 2012 Holiday Gift Guide featured in its November 2012 issue. On November 18, Irish Holiday Fairy Tales was featured in The Tampa Tribune’s Bay Life Section http://www2.tbo.com/news/breaking-news/2012/nov/18/6/banewso1-carrollwood-author-tells-cat-tales-for-a-ar-567067/. And on December 2, Finn’s book got a wonderful review on Cat Wisdom 101. http://catwisdom101.com/magic-leprechaun-cat-book-review-giveaway/
