Veterinary Community gather to raise
funds for the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation
TAMPA, Fla. – On Saturday, May 3, members of the veterinary community will be gathering at Mainsail Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Tampa for the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation’s 27th Annual Dinner.
The highlight of the evening is the awarding of the Annual Service Dog
of the Year, with another amazing service dog to be honored. All proceeds raised from the dinner will go directly to the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation to benefit the foundation’s charitableanimal clinic scheduled to open at the end of June.

“The purpose of the annual dinner is not only to fundraise,
but also an opportunity for members of the veterinary community to celebrate the human-animal bond, and recognize special people and pets,” said Donald Thompson, Executive Director of the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation.
The dinner is scheduled to begin at 6pm and will host close to 200 attendees. There will be a silent auction, prize drawings and a comedic
performance; along with scholarship awards.

About the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation
The Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation is a non-profit
501(c)(3) founded in 1987 by a group of community-minded Hillsborough County veterinarians. The programs and educational efforts of the HAHF are designed to accomplish two things - advance the principles of responsible pet ownership, and to see all pets live healthy, happy lives. The HAHF has dedicated 27 years of public service and advocacy to improve pet health, responsible pet ownership and care through an emphasis on pet owner education. Today, it is supported by 41 member hospitals throughout Hillsborough
County.
