Principals Slimed By The Masses

The principals at Claywell Elementary got covered in green goop on Thursday, May 2.

First-graders at Claywell Elementary School got to see their principals in a whole new way on Thursday, May 2.

Slimy, to be exact.

Principal Rob Jones and Assistant Principal Renee Best were slimed by 18 first-graders in Mrs. Smith's class at the school.

Smith's class had the highest attendance at the school's Scholastic Book Fair night. As a reward, they got to slime the school's top administrators.

The rest of the school's first-graders watched and cheered their peers on. One by one the students walked up to Jones and Best and drenched them with green slime.

Covered in slime, Jones said he was happy to get covered in goop if it "motivates the kids."

Lucky for Jones and Best the slime was just a mixture of applesauce with green food coloring.
