School Back in Session Today After CDS Bomb Threat

The bomb threat came in on Monday morning, authorities said.

One day after a bomb threat prompted school officials to send students home early from Carrollwood Day School, class is back in session.

Classes will resume today at the school, 1515 W. Bearss Ave., according to Shannon Gauthier, marketing director at CDS.

The bomb threat was called in to authorities at 8:04 a.m. on Monday, according to Debbie Carter, spokeswoman for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. School officials made the call to cancel classes for the rest of the day as authorities conducted an investigation.
