Public Meeting to Discuss Vehicle Access to Whole Foods

The meeting will be held on Feb. 21

Hillsborough County will hold a public meeting to discuss proposed improvements to the road medians on Northdale Boulevard from Dale Mabry Highway to Premiere Drive in northern Hillsborough County.

The proposed improvements would provide safe access to the Whole Foods Market that is currently being constructed at the former call center site along the road, as well as improve safe turning along Northdale Boulevard. The median at Altimira Drive is proposed to be modified to eliminate northbound left turns from Altimira Drive onto Northdale Boulevard. A westbound left turn into the Whole Foods Store also is proposed to be added through the median modifications.

Construction of these improvements is planned to begin during the summer of 2012 and complete by mid fall 2012. County staff will be at the meeting to discuss the details of the project and answer any questions residents may have. Please attend; we welcome your input.
