Carrollwood and Northdale area residents might see or smell a little smoke again today. But there's no cause for concern, officials say.
The Florida Forest Service is conducting a prescribed burn for the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department today (Thursday, July 5) at Lake Park, 17302 N. Dale Mabry in Lutz. This is the has taken place at the park.

The burn will last one day. The purpose of the burn is for ecological site management and hazardous fuels reduction.
