Officials: Florida Leads Nation in Boating Accidents

While Carrollwood hasn't seen many , the state of Florida leads the country in the number of boating accidents reported last year, according to a story in the Tampa Bay Times based on a report released by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Florida is also home to a large number of boat-owners who take advantage of the state's good weather and access to water.
