Get Out Those Ugly Sweaters, Ladies!
A local restaurant is hosting an event that requires tacky sweaters
Attention, ladies. It's time to head to the back of the closet and grab the ugliest sweater you own.
The Melting Pot fondue restaurants in the Tampa Bay area - Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Carrollwood - are hosting holiday Ladies Night Out events from Nov. 28 until Dec. 2.
During that week, ladies are being asked to wear their tackiest holiday sweaters. Guests can also choose to be photographed to enter The Melting Pot's tacky holiday sweater contest, which will be open for fan voting on The Tampa Bay Area Melting Pot's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/themeltingpottampabayarea from Nov. 29 until Dec. 8.

The guest who enters the sweater that gets the most "likes" will win a $50 mall certificate that can be used to buy a new sweater.
Guests who stop by The Melting Pot can also receive a complimentary chocolate fondue if they bring in a gently used sweater or coat that can be donated to Metropolitan Ministries. The fondue voucher is valid with a $50 purchase.
