- The deadline is Friday to apply for a neigborhood mini-grant from Hillsborough County. Grants can be used for neighborhood associations and to strengthen communities.
- The North Tampa Chamber of Commerce is hosting its "Coffee Connection" event from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. today at 1602 N. 15th St. in Ybor City. It's free and open to the public.
- Having trouble managing your money? Stop by a budgeting class from 10 a.m. until noon today at 8412 N. 12th Street at the Sulphur Springs Resource Center. The class is free.
- Ledo Pizza, 14432 N. Dale Mabry Highway, is hosting family night featuring Kids Karaoke from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today.
- Finally, the Carrollwood Kiwanis Club is hosting its weekly luncheon at J. Christopher's restaurant, 14366 N. Dale Mabry Highway, from noon until 1 p.m. today.
