Five Things To Know Today: Tuesday, March 29

A daily digest provided by Patch

Here are five things you can do or learn more about today:

  • If you were planning to head to the "Tiny Tot Olympics" today, there's been a change of plans due to inclement weather. The event has been rescheduled for April 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Lettuce Lake Park.
  • Mark your calendars for a family-oriented event in Northdale on April 9. The Northdale Civic Association, Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation department and Northdale Park will present the 2011 Northdale Family Fun Festival and Parade.
  • On April 16, Working Women of Tampa Bay will host their first annual spring swap meet at the Original Carrollwood Recreation Center, 3515 McFarland Road, from noon until 4 p.m. The event is free for members, $5 for non-members. Bring a bag of gently used clothes and accessories to swap. Leftover items will be donated to The Salvation Army. Register online at www.workingwomenoftampabay.com.
  • Stop by Yogurt Mountain, 12817 N. Dale Mabry Highway, for a sugary treat while you dodge the raindrops today.
